Here's a challenge for all you Mountys out there.
No, not the sort that favour red and hang about with lumberjacks. I'm talking about the Mounty driver challenge, an event that Moffett Sales and Services will be bringing to Truckfest '99 in Peterborough, the Yorkshire Trucking Spectacular and Truckfest Scotland.
The truck-mounted forklift driver challenge will take place on an 18m2 site, over a course designed by Moffett's training team, and will pit the drivers' skills against the clock. For safety reasons the challenge is open by invitation only to qualified Mounty drivers.
There will be a daily award at each event of a cash prize, with a trophy and a limited-edition Mg iron model of a Moffett Mounty. A weekend in Ireland for two will be awarded to the overall winner at each event.
