Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Known as the Delta HS it differs from previous Dennis models in that it features an all-steel cab based on a design of Motor Panels Ltd of Coventry.

This particular cab is for an order from the Middle East for 170 special petrol tankers.

The steel cab has been specified in preference to the standard Dennis glass fibre model for ease of repair to accident damage as in hot climates, the resin and filler used in the repairs can have a limited shelf life.

A Perkins V8 540 engine is fitted in conjunction with a five-speed Eaton box and a single-speed rear axle, again from Eaton.

Although the cab does not tilt, Dennis claims that the power unit is easily accessible via a removable cowl inside the cab, which has a nominal height above the floor of only 230mm (9in).

Access to the injectors and other side auxiliaries on the vee engine is by means of forward hinged step panels.

Normal daily servicing to the radiator, steering pump reservoir, fuses, etc, is through a hinged front panel.

The tropical roof, fire screen and divided windscreen are to Middle East customer requirements although a one-pice windscreen can be fitted instead.

Although it is only available for export at the moment, the Delta IIS might be built for the home market if the interest is there.
