Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CRANE FRUEHAUF has formed two new companies to replace its service and equipment company, and to cope with the growth and potential of the increasing numbers of trailers on the road.

The new companies, Crane Fruehauf Service Ltd and Crane Fruehauf Parts Ltd will take over operations from the former company and become national specialists in their own fields.

Headquarters of the parts company will be the 40,800sqft distribution centre at North Pickenham, Norfolk, where there is a stock of 5,000 parts and the ability to call on another 30,000 items.

A network of parts centres is also being taken over from the former service and equipment company to provide service over the counter, and operate a fleet of 32 parts sales vans.

The new arrangements will provide a parts service for the complete range of Crane Freuhauf products, including the rigid and demountable bodies and the Holmes vehicle recovery equipment, as well as Ramsey winches.

Headquarters of the service division will be at Dereham, Norfolk, and will deal with repairs to trailers and containers, dealing with a series of service centres around the country.

The service company will deal with all the specialities of the various depots and all the depots will be equipped to handle every type of day-to-day servicing.

Contractual maintenance will also be done on a negotiated basis and there is a fleet of mobile workshops for on-site and emergency repairs.
