Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANEW Firestone tool has been evolved to obviate difficulties and damage when removing 9.00-20 tyres on B 6.5 widebase rims and facilitates release of the locking ring, which on this type of rim incorporates the taper flange.

The tool comprises a bar of high-tensile steel with a length of about 3 ft. to which is welded a special flange providing sufficient leverage to eliminate the necessity for hammering. It can also be used on B 7.0 and B 7.5 rims.

Made by: Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co. Ltd.. Great West Road, Brentford, Middx.
