THE Minister of Transport has announced the proposed route of a two-mile extension into London of Ml—from Fiveways Corner, Hendon, to the North Circular Road. Proposals for associated road alterations and for the Staples Corner junction have also been announced. Cost of the work is estimated at some £8m., excluding the cost of land. Work is expected to start in 1968-9.
