THE body of the mobile shop I illustrated on this page was built •by G. Davidson and Ruts, Ltd., North Shields. and is mounted on a Goy Wolf chassis. It has a plastic-covered serving counter, and part of the floor has been reinforced to parry six customers.
To protect -food_ from possible contamination, all joints have been Made dustproof and draughtproof. The entrance door is of the sliding type. and is mounted on ball-bearing runners.
At the end of the counters are two showcases, and at the rear of them are arranged Iwo display windows, with adjustable shelves and sliding doors. These display .windows are backed by four large shelves on'ea6 side of the Vehicle..
On the near side and beneath the serving counter there are nine closefitting drawers running from counter level to the floor. At the rear of the body is a large window .which enables the driver to obtain a clear and unobstructed view when reversing. The floor covering is rubber mosaic, which greatly enhances the general appearance.
