OJECTIONS to a request by Inverness County Council for restriction in the size of buses operating on tours between Inverness and Dornie via Glenshiel, were made at a sitting of the Traffic Commissioners in Inverness last week. The council asked that the buses • be restricted to 14-seaters.
Mr. J. B. Bauchop, solicitor, representing the Highland Transport Co., Ltd., said that it was a sad state of
affairs to find a local authority coming forward at this time of day with a request for a restriction on a Class 1 road. The request of the council was granted.
