• Edinburgh solicitor Alan Worthington has replaced Ramsay Dalgety as deputy to Scottish Licensing Authority Keith Waterworth. He makes his first appearance with Waterworth at a disciplinary inquiry in Edinburgh today (Thursday).
Dalgety has resigned his post and is to become a supreme court judge in Tonga.
