• Hiab has extended its range of remote control systems.
The CombiDrive complements the established DigiDrive system which can control up to a dozen functions, including the engine, lights and horn.
A radio control option will be available soon.
The crane's operating speed can be reduced by 20 or 50% to suit precise handling of fragile loads.
Hiab has also uprated a number of its lorry loaders.
The 12tim model 125 has been beefed up with improved hydraulics and extra reach; the 5t/m model 590 timber loader has been developed to suit 17tormers, and the 45tim 460 has been superseded by the 48.3t/m model 480.
