• Pirelli is about to launch a 17. Sin low-profile tyre for low platform-height trailers. The S1'95 tyres come in 235/75 or 245/70 sizes and have a load carrying capacity of up to 2725kg per tyre (depending on configuration and speed).
This latest tyre uses the company's Zero° system which will be incorporated in the complete range during 1992.
Pirelli has updated its supersingle trailer tyre which is also Zero. The new tread pattern and compound are said to give improved grip and tyre life.
