Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AMOBILE shop has been added to the fleet of Lakeland Laundries, Ltd., the activities of which were fully

described in " The Commercial Motor" dated May 25, 1951. With exterior measurements of 12 ft. by 7 ft. by 7 ft., the body is built on a Boden-Davis two-wheeled caravan chassis mounted on 6.50 by 16 tyres. By the use of this unit, the company's services are brought to four main centres where the organization has no permanent ,branches.

Based at Ingleton, to which point it returns every night with its loads, the shop is towed out to Settle on Tues

days, Bentham on Wednesdays, Kirkby Lonsdale on Thursdays and Leyburri on Fridays, these being the market days at the respective places. The trailer is accompanied on each occasion by a trained manageress, who is stationed at Ingleton, and country people in the districts are thus provided with a service in areas where it might not be an economic proposition to maintain a permanent establishment.

Weighing only 1 ton unladen, the trailer is towed by an ordinary laundry van, which continues normal duties during the day and undertakes the return towing at night.
