Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The question everyone was asking last year was what would it cost operators to implement the move to digital and Euro-42 Well, operators have spoken with their cheque books and steered clear of digital and Euro-4 causing a downturn in sales.

That the slump might last until the arrival of Furo-5 isn't lost on heavy truck builders and those who can diversify down the weight categories are doing so. Perhaps the most important issue is when will operators mobilise themselves to go digital?

For their part manufacturers have been content to consolidate lineups and break the 600hp barrier. So far only the Swedes have surpassed it with the 15.6-litre SCR from Scania and the 16-litre from Volvo.

The Ileet sector hasn't seen anything fresh in terms of products although the Renault Premium launch, complete with Swedish drivelines, was much anticipated, while of the flagships motors Daf's XF105 stole the honours.
