As they sup a pint of foaming ale, customers can take a shufti over the original Reliant Robin from the TV series. And that's not the only treat for fans that landlord Philip Hurrell has in store. He is giving his pub, The Morning Star, a £135,000 makeover in homage to the Trotter's local, The Nag's Head.
Other lovelyjubbly memorabilia on display in the bar will include the Batman and Robin costumes from the programme, supplied by the Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society. Now this has given The Hawk an idea if ever he is put out to pasture (anytime now—Ed).
I wonder if his trusty threewheeler would fit into the snug bar of The Mouse and KeyboardP Perhaps, like Roy Rogers and Trigger, The Hawk and Foden the dog could be preserved therein forever.
