APOLICY of "aggressive expansion" is announced by the Lloyd's Packaging group, whose 10 transport and travel companies include Lloyds Transport and Warehousing Co. (Manchester) Ltd.. James Transport Co. Ltd., of Manchester and F. Cook and Son (Winterbourne) Ltd., of Bristol.
Reorganization is in the bands of Mr. J. Bishop, new divisional managing director, who this week said: "I am starting the New Year with a fact-finding tour of our operations.
"My findings from experience are that the transport, and especially the travel, business in this country are far from efficient, lacking in imagination, and far too complacent."
