group has started to use a new type of welding equipment of American manufacture in the production of heavy-duty steel tipping bodies. The system is known as the Innershield Squirt, and it is said to be much faster than conventional manual welding equipment, whilst also providing a better join because of deeper penetration. At present it is being used on certain 0-375-in.-thick mild-steel-plate sections of dumper bodies, including those for the A.E.C. Dumptruk.
