Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO meetings have been arranged by the East Midland Traffic Commissioners for the purpose of co-ordinating the fares for excursions and tours for 1935. The first meeting will take place at the Police Court, Boston, on, January 7, at 11.30 a.m., when fares to operate from 54 starting points will cc dealt with, whilst the second conference will be held at the Town Hall, Grimsby, on January 9, at 11.30 a.m. , to consider fares from 16 starting points.

THE remaining five tramway routes of Southport Corporation ceased operation on Monday last. The changeover was marked by the burning of

one of the old vehicles. Forty-five trams have been discarded and 20 further buses have been brought into service.
