Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

On the " Patents " page for tit"! T1st Dec., we included an abridgment of the specification of the system of automobile haulage which . has been introduced by the Soci6te Auto-Mixte of Liege. The combined arrangement is known as he Pescatore system. Herewith we in...elude two reproductions of photographs which will serve to amplify the technical particulars to which we have referred. An examination of the adjoining pictures reveals the principle upon which the inventor has worked. The trailer has a front trolley wheel, which, by virtue of the front portion's being lifted on to the back of the tractor by way of an inclined slide, is raised clear of the ground when the complete " train " is ready for the road. The trailer is self-supporting when it is detached from the tractor. Difficulties of backing and of controlling the trailer on greasy roads will suggest themselves to those who remember similar experiments in England some 16 years ago. This trailer system may none the less inter2st some of our readers.
