Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

manufacturer R&G Wilcox has developed a semitrailer chassis for what director Ray Wilcox terms "the small, quality trailer market sector".

The first example, made for the Belgian market, is a 44-tonne GTW tri-RO-R lightweight axle step-frame unit built of high-tensile steel and running on Flexair 9000 suspension.

Its air bags mount directly under the 1.35m (53in) centred main beams.

The 10.36m-long 53m3 stepped body has a 6.4mm N8 grade aluminium floor (the last 1.52m is 8.0mm) and pivots on short tubular bearings either end of the hinge bar.

Bendix AL-4T anti-lock with diagnostic and memory functions is included in the specification along with Silent Travel body dampers and Marflex loa4 sheeting. Unladen weight is said to be around 6.0 tonnes. R&G has added a neat safety feature by coupling the pneumatics to the Hyva hydraulic s tem allowing the air suspensi n to exhaust automatically as the body rises.

Wilcox explains that this brings the trailer down on to its bump stops, lowering its centre of gravity and making it more stable when tipping.
