Workers Won is expected to submit a 5% pay claim for Tankfreight's 2,000 non-petroleum drivers with a £2 increase on overnight subsistence.
The TGWU will meet Tankfreight's sister company BRS on 10 February to discuss a pay claim "which will maintain the standard of living" for its 3,000 drivers. To maintain this the drivers could not accept anything below the Retail Price Index, says the TGWU.
