plans to cut its costs by moving a two-site Boots contract into a single depot.
Six of the 23 driver and warehouse staff at Chandler's Ford near Southampton will be laid off when the work is transferred to its Boots' Basingstoke site where it has spare capacity.
All of the Chandler's Ford employees, including 14 drivers, were offered a job at Basingstoke, which is about 55km (35 miles} from Chandler's Ford.
Because Basingstoke is further away from some of the delivery points, BRS will increase the number of staff and trucks based there.
