Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A RANGE of flat-strip pre-cured treads for lorry tyres has been developed by RE Tyre and Rubber of Alton, Hampshire. Available in five distinct patterns and in a total of 27 sizes, the range is intended for use in all conventional pre-cure truck tyre retread processes.

The flat-strip treads are produced from a natural/synthetic rubber compound, and are designed to minimise wear on curing envelopes by the use of "whisker" vents in the tread precuring process.

A new tread design called the ZA1 is included in the range which is a high mileage pattern with rounded shoulders to resist turning scrub on multi-axle bogies.

The other four patterns are the M&S (mud and snow) available in five widths from 190 to 240mm (7.4-9.4in), the Lug (for offroad use) in six widths from 140 to 240mm (5.5-9.4in) the Highway ZZ in four widths from 178 to 203mm (7-7.9in), and the Arctic available in three widths from 178 to 203mm (7-7.9in).

All the treads are of standard lengths and are supplied with under surfaces buffed and solutioned ready for use.
