Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DUTCH specialist vehicle builder Terberg is showing several new models at the RAI Amsterdam Show, from February 9 to 18.

One of these is a five-axled eight wheel drive site vehicle designed for 62 tonnes gross, which gives a payload of around 45 tonnes when fitted with a standard dump truck body.

Its engine is the 287 kW (385 bhp) charge cooled Volvo TD121F driving through a Volvo SR70 12-speed gearbox. The SR72 or a ZF WSK semi-automatic gearbox with torque convertor are offered as options.

The truck's 10x8 configuration uses air suspension for the three steering axles and rubber suspension on the rear bogie.

Many of the components are compatible with those used on the F2000 8x8 several of which are being used in the UK on open cast coal sites.

Also on show will be Terberg's type OK 1100 designed for container handling. It comprises a cab with driven front axle, fitted with a pair of wide chassis rails on single wheels.

As the vehicle reverses to the container the rails pass on either side of it and hydraulic arms raise the container into position for transporting it.

To complete the show line-up an F975 6x2 combination with a special three-axle low bed drawbar trailer provides a total load volume of 130 cum (4,643cuft).

Further details on Terberg's show exhibits can be obtained from Frank Tinsdale, Commerce House, Dene Drive, Winsford, Cheshire.
