Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AVERAGE discharge rates of between 15 and 20 tons PA an hour over distances up to 100 ft. are achieved with this new bulk handling outfit recently completed by Peterborough Engineering Co. Ltd. Seen here with a B.M.C. tractive unit, the B.T.C. 12-ton semi-trailer carries

Eght-alloy bulk body and Edbro heavy-duty twin-ram tipping gear.

The semi-trailer can be used as a self-contained pneumatic-discharge unit with any suitable tractive unit, since the Roots-type blower is powered by a Volkswagen petrol engine on the semi-trailer itself. As a photograph shows, all controls are conveniently grouped on the near side. Another of the pictures below shows the Pengeo rotary valve unit at the rear of the trailer.

The bulk body itself is designed to carry about 12 tons of feeding sniffs and has two interior partitions to provide three equal sections and thus cater for split deliveries.
