CONVERSION OF LONDON TRANSPORT STOCK

I T is announced by the London Passenger Transport Board that out of £12,583,000 London Transport 4i per cent. " stock, the holders of about £9,600,000 of stock, or 76 per cent. of the total, have elected to exchange into the new London Transport 3 per cent, guaranteed stock 1967/72; on the terms of the recent offer.

The Tbalance of the authorized issue of £12,905,641 London Transport 3 per cent, guaranteed stock will be issued for cash, in accordance with the arrangements already made, and the unconverted London Transport 41 per cent. " T.F.A." stock will be repaid in cash on January 1, 1943.
