• Altrincham-based bodybui der S Cartwright & Sons is building 18 air-suspended, tri axle, double-deck trailers for TNT Contract Services. The will be used for TNT's Ford Parts distribution business.
The 111m3 capacity, fixedfloor double-deckers have a conventional steel chasis with tubular crossmembers and loi gitudinal floor supports. Rolle steel side raves have been clt signed to accept fibreglassreinforced plywood panels.
The bottom deck height is only 787nun above ground du to the use of wide-spaced springs and 205x 80R15 tyre: on twin wheels.
