The survey, while concentrating on the potential of women as drivers, seems to miss the fact that the industry is dominated by family businesses with 10 or fewer vehicles where women play a supportive role (in management or administration) which is a natural extension of the role of women in the home. This profile is characteristic of well over half of the 11,000 members of the RHA.
