QPERATION of half-deck public service vehicles, of the Crellin Duplex pattern, is now permitted. New regulations covering this type stipulate a maximum length of 30 ft. and a maximum capacity of 50 passengers, excluding driver and/or conductor_ Standing passengers are prohibited.

An emergency exit in the roof is also required. This is in addition to the two exits, one of which may be an emergency exit, required on single-deckers.
