L./putting forward an immensely strong case for quick action by the Ministry of Transport, a new publication was extensively circulated on Wednesday by the B.R.F. Previous B.R.F. booklets have been powerful and have been widely distributed through all effective channels, but the Federation has made a special effcirt to ensure the force Of this latest effort.
Entitled " From Here to There " and bearing on its cover a symbolic map, the hook has as its three-fold plot the vital need for Government action based on the Prevention of Road Accidents report, the County Surveyors' Society's Scheme for Motor ways, and the Bressey Plan. It is copiously and cleverly illustrated and lacks nothing in the way of brightness, with its concise literary matter and its • attractive, extremely colourful presen tation.
The message may be summed-up in the concluding words of the book:— " It is your business as a citizen to see that the plans are not put in a pigeon-hole." Copies of the publication will be supplied on request to the Federation at iti> headquarters at 120, Pall Mall, London, S.W.1
