Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO diesel-engined models have been added to the range of Hi-Ace light commercials marketed by Toyota (GB) Ltd.

The Hi-Ace short-wheelbase chassis-cab and the swb pickup are now available with the Toyota L 2,188cc diesel engine which develops 46kW (62bhp) SAE net at 4,2 0Orpm, and 126Nm (93 lbft) (SAE net) of torque at 2,400rpm.

The four-cylinder engine has five main bearings and a chaindriven single overhead camshaft — the compression ratio is 21.5:1. Equipment includes a 2.5kW reduction starter. Nippondenso rotary injection pump, glow-plugs for cold-starting, viscous-drive fan a 40amp alternator, and automatic fuel cut-off controlled by the ignition key.

To improve economy, the diesel is coupled to a five-speed allsynchromesh gearbox with overdrive fifth speed, and the final drive ratio is raised from 4.875 to 4.375:1.

Independent front suspension, recirculating ball steering and new servo-assisted split-circuit disc/drum braking and cab furnishings are the same as those of the latest petrol-engined models, introduced at the same time.

Prices start at £4,169 for the Hi-Ace chassis cab to £4,314 (ex VAT) for the pickup.
