Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE OLAU Line put its latest ro/ro ferry into service last week on the Sheerness/Vlissingen (Holland )crossing.

The new ship, the £23m ()tau Holland/a, at 15,000 tons gross, is the largest ferry in cross-Channel service; it can carry 65 12metre trailers plus 60 cars and is as high as a seven-storey block of flats. It can accommodate 1,600 passengers.

Freight traffic on this route has increased enormously since the company began this route six years ago, and in 1980 amounted to 33,544 units (commercial vehicles or unaccompanied trailers).
