COMPUTER dispatch equipment for the Ann Arbor diala-ride network has been ordered from the International Aeradio group of Southall.
The equipment assembles the details of all passengers who want to be carried and holds this information until the departure time of the bus. Names and addresses are then fed to the appropriate vehicle which collects the passengers.
The buses are fitted with data units which transmit their position and capacity and which are capable of receiving information on a 128-character display.
