Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

From lain Sherriff, Sofia, Bulgaria, March 29 SINCE leaving Salzburg on March 24 (CM last week) our journey has not been without its problems but if all goes well at least two of our three vehicles should have arrived in Teheran by the time you read this; I am hoping we shall be there by Wednesday or Thursday.

Our first delay after leaving SalzbUrg was not long in coming. Entry into Yugoslavia swiftly resulted in delay through permit problems and we had to wait while the British Embassy in Belgrade issued new documents to enable us to cross the country.

We were fortunate, and were able to resume our journey with the Eastern BRS convoy destined for Iran, but many British drivers are stranded in Yugoslavia,,which is enforcing the law very strictly now, even to the extent of imprisoning drivers.

In Bulgaria we parted company with the Scania 110 artic which was accompanying the two Scammell Crusaders in our convoy. A large piece of the Scania's load came adrift in Sofia and we despaired of repairing the broken customs seals. Since the driver's visa expires on April 2, and the vehicle looked unlikely to be re-sealed and cleared in time, the two Crusaders proceeded alone. I am going with them via Istanbul and Ankara and hope to have news of our arrival in Teheran in time for next week's issue.
