Martell's trucks no longer feature the traditional rear drop-well, once ubiquitous on removal vehicles. Although better suited to loose loading by hand, the increasing variety of cargo and use of side-loading containers makes it more practical to have a completely flat loadbecl and use long rear ramps where appropriate.
The tail-lift on the newest wagon reflects the increasing diversity of Martell's work the delivery and installation of security scanning machines. Manufactured locally, these are taken to embarkation points around the country and moved into position by skates or forklift ready for wiring.
A service that is becoming increasingly popular is the movement of cars. On European moves, families either don't want to drive there, or have too many vehicles. Using long ramps, the cars can be loaded along with containers up to two vehicles at time.
