Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

pickup class is arguably cosmetic, designed for those that want, not need, extra grunt, a return to the Hilux has renewed our respect for this pickup.

We like the updates, which make the top-rated engine that bit more flexible, and the on-road characteristics really do impress for a vehicle of this type.

Matching this is its build quality, which gives the Toyota a seamless air of confidence, no matter what the conditions.

Speaking in commercial terms, though, whether we'd opt for the 3.0-litre engine is a moot point which leaves a dilemma.

White other manufacturers are offering their standard 2.5-litre versions, with outputs hovering around the 130hp-140hp mark, Toyota's arrangement makes do with just 118hp.

Food for thought. But that said, the engine conundrum shouldn't detract from the good work done by Toyota to maintain the standing of this machine.

If we had to pick a machine to go into battle with, or just off-road, the Hilux would be at the top of our list.
