Eihis fine looking figure of a truck which looks every inch the military vehicle belongs to Michael McGeehan of McGeehan & Sons, Draperstown, Magherafelt, Co Londonderry, Michael bought the 1954 10-ton cargo carrier six years ago from transporter Roger Feneley of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, who had restored it to its original condition. During its army career the vehicle was based in Germany. These days it leads a pampered retirement and is shown throughout Britain and Northern Ireland. In May next year it will take part in a two-day road run in the province.
