Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

speed_ turnround

YORK Trailer's Truck Equipment engineers have designed a special platform trailer which incorporates labour saving devices aimed at reducing driver effort during unloading and to speed up turnround time.

The trailer is used for multi-drop delivery of crated bottles, which contain lemonade and squash, to dairy depots.

Palletised stacks of crates are loaded on either side of a centre track and secured with six fixed sheets, three on each side.

The sheets are attached with hooks to the centre track and ropes to the side-rave hooks.

As each sheet can be separately removed part load drops are said to be speeded up.

An access door in the headboard permits the driver to walk along the centre gangway between the crates and to load 10 crates at a time on a trolley which runs down the centre on specially designed tracks.

For smaller drops, a sack barrow is provided while complete pallets are unloaded using a pallet trolley, and the 1 ton capacity tail-lift.

Operating with a tractive unit at 30 tonnes (29.5 tons) gcw the 11-metre (37ft Gin) trailer is in use with Wales and Western Dairies.
