rHESTER has applied to the North Western Licensing Authority for permission to abolish workmen's returns, and to increase ordinary singles by id., with proportionate increases in children's and scholars' rates, on the municipal services. A similar application in respect of their services affected by Chester's proposals has been made by Crosville Motor Services, Ltd.
