PNEUMATIC assistance to lift the gully down-pipe is a standard feature of the new Commander gully emptier from Whale Tankers. It is part of a rationalised three-model range. This now includes, in addition to the Commander, a remote-control model and a manual unit.
The Commander and remote control model are very similar in specification, though the Commander has dirty water recycling facilities as well as the pneumatic assistance. The pneumatic assistance is claimed not to interfere with manual operation of the gully downpipe.
