Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We recently had an opportunity of inspecting the repair depot which has been opened at 134, Grosvenor Road, S.W., by Alley and MacLellan, Ltd., of Sentinel wagon fame. The premises include a yard of fair size, fitted with a power crane, and here standing room for 14 to 16 steam wagons is to be found. On the right of the yard is a fitting shop, which is equipped with an inspection pit and the necessary tools and appliances for dismantling and re-assembling this maker's wagons. Adjoining this building is a well-equipped stores, in which standard parts, made at the works in Glasgow, are stored ready to drop into place on the wagons. It has been found expedient to assemble many of these parts beforehand, and accordingly a stock of built-up back and front axles, springs, etc., is found on the racks and shelves. We are informed that Sentinel users in the

London district are making increasing use of this repair yard and depot, and that the departure has been justified by the increased business which has followed. We are requested to inform our readers that any standard part of the Sentinel wagon, from a new engine to the smallest nut, can be here replaced in the shortest possible time. It is obviously more satisfactoryfor users to be within easy reach of a well-equipped depot where repairs and renewals may be obtained. There is little doubt that many prospective users of steam and petrol wagons are deterred by fear of loss owing to the holding up of the vehicles for repairs. This fear becomes more i acute when t is necessary to send a wagon a long cross-country journey in order that it may receive its maker's attention.
