DAY BROTHERS has been given permission to base three vehicles at a site in Bullens Green Lane, St Albans subject to the following conditions and undertakings: • gross vehicle weight of the vehicles will not exceed 7.5 tonnes; • vehicles must enter and exit the site in forward gear only; • trucks will be loaded and unloaded within the operating centre; • lorries shall not park in Bullens Green Lane, Colney Heath, Hertfordshire apart from the newly constructed lay-by; • parking in the lay-by to be limited to a maximum of two vehicles at any time, and there shall be no return parking by a vehicle within the lay-by for two hours; • no loading or unloading of vehicles before 7.30am and after 6pm Mondays to Fridays, and before 8am and after 2pm on Saturdays, except in exceptional circumstances; • there shall be no loading or unloading of the authorised vehicles on all Sundays and Bank Holidays; • apart from 10 occasions a year, there shall be no operation or movement of authorised vehicles before 6.30am and after 6pm Mondays to Fridays, and before 7.30am and after 2pm on Saturdays, save in exceptional circumstances; • no operation or movement of authorised vehicles on Sundays and Bank Holidays; • no idling of the vehicles when not in use, except when bringing them up to temperature.
