IN CM 13 October you said foreign trucks owe £6.2m in unpaid LEZ ines. Is it not a simple task for the authorities to alert the ferry terminals of the offending vehicles in this day and age?
So when they book to go back to the Continent, the alert is registered, and to move on they have to pay their ine. A commission could even be given to the harbour authorities acting as a collection agent. Too simple?
