Andover Transport holds an O-licence for 15 vehicles and 10 trailers, comprising seven artics, one 7.5-tonne Mercedes-Benz, five 18-tonners (MAN and DAFs) and two Mercedes vans.
“We bought a lot of the 18-tonners when we took over the company, the vans, a tractor unit and some trailers. Then we sat down with Hill Hire, with which we have a strong working relationship, and went to work on renewing the rest of the fleet,” says Horner.
“We’ve taken on four brand-new artics [Ivecos], we’ve got two Mercs from MV Commercials, and I bought a Volvo from Hill Hire only last week. Next year, we will renew all the 18-tonners.”
