Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

JOHN Smith's of Tadeaster, part of the Courage brewery group, is trying out a new design of side curtain, produced by Lawrence David Ltd, of Crowland, Peterborough, on a low platformed 16.3 tonnes (16-ton) Bedford.

An enclosed body is needed to protect palleted loads of cardboard trays containing cans of beer from the elements whilst in transit.

The new curtain in the style of a roller blind, is mounted on both sides and to the rear to allow maximum access.

A crank handle is used to rotate the roller via a chain and sprocket housed in the body pillars and so raise the curtain while its weight, aided by gravity, is sufficient for the lowering operation.

Additional load restraint is provided by full length aluminium alloy tubes inserted in the curtain which are attached to the corner pillars at each end in runners, while vertical tension is added by straps secured beneath the side raves.
