Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The 1000th Scania for the UK was delivered this week to the Erdington depot of Samuel Williams Transport Ltd. The vehicle, a 110 two-axle tractive unit for 32 tons gross with non-sleeper cab will be the 100th Scania to join the Samuel Williams fleet and will be used on general haulage and bulk-liquid transport throughout the country.

Scania entered the highly competitive British market less than 3.1 years ago and expects to have delivered some 1600 vehicles to UK custgmers by the end of this year. From 1971 it is planned to import more than 1000 annually and plans are also in hand to extend the distribution network and to establish additional maintenance facilities. Production of Scania trucks in Sweden has almost trebled in the past 14 years and has jumped from 9500 in 1968 to 12,000 in 1969; 70 per cent of the production is exported.
