A S the bus service to Hill View, Sunderland, is being operated at a loss, Sunderland Transport Committee are recommending that a one-manoperated service should be started. Passengers will have to book in advance by buying books of 12 2d. vouchers, which will be sold for Is. 9d. to encourage them to use the service. These vouchers will be exchanged for 2d. tickets.
The proposal is subject to agreement with the trade unions and the approval of the Northern Licensing Authority.
