Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

a while further down in the pack the Swedish truck maker has powered back into pole position. At the beginning of December it held an 18% stake in the artic market having registered 3,069 tractors. But what was its top contender? Volvo struggled to answer that one for us right up to the wire because the FM12 4x2 and FH12 6x2 have been running neck-and-neck throughout 2001 with 380hp being the most popular FM12 rating while most F1112 6x2 buyers wanted 420 horses. Either way, the D12C engine remains a force to be reckoned with and fleet buyers and owner-drivers alike clearly love that full-width modular cab.

UK TOP 10 TRACTORS-2nd: Scania R124 420 6x2 The outright market leader in 2000 had slipped to second place by December 2001 although the popularity of the "other" Swedish marque remains undiminished. The recent re-alignment of its sales strategy, which has seen Scania deliberately steering less towards the big fleets in favour of its traditional core road haulier market, will clearly not have helped in volume terms. But for all that. Scania is still a powerful contender in any elle buyer's book, not least when it comes to residual values. The R-cabbed 12-litre 420hp twin-steer remains as popular as ever, particularly among 3+3 operators and top-weight specialists.

UK TOP 10 TRACT.WiS-3rd: Oaf 85CF 430 FTC 6x2 Space Cab The Dutch clearly like having their cake and eating it. Not only has the original 95 Series proved a fleet favourite since its launch, but its big brother, the high-cab 95XF 430, has played a key part in Daft conquest of top spot in the two-axle artic sector, confirming a switch back to 4x2s. However, in 200-1 Oaf's overall best seller has been the twin-steer 85CF 460 FTG (and more recently its successor, the CFB5), particularly with the Space Cab. Its popularity underlines the phenomenal growth in "slim-but-high-cab" fleet tractors; in terms of performance and economy, Daft "non-electronic"12-litre XF straight six has also delivered the goods for buyers. As we dosed for press Daf was charging hard for the number two spot!
