Econsol Auto-D, a liquid, is added to either the vehicle's or a bulk storage tank at a standard dosage of one part additive to 200 parts fuel. Although for the first engine applica tion the company recommends a dosage of I to 25 for the first 200 litres (50gal). This initial purge clears wax and carbon from the engine.

The company claims that fuel savings of 5-7 per cent are typical.
