The Authority, Maj. F. S. Eastwood, replied that he had asked the applicant to produce figures of work for hire or reward, but C-licence figures were included in his statement. Nearly alt the tonnage carried belonged to Mr. Walker, and the supporting letters referred to hard core that he supplied.

You don't take any notice of what tell you," he declared. "it is the third time in three years. I have told you what to do and I have been considerate only because of the good work you did in Hull during the war."

Mr. Walker had applied for vehicles to carry building materials within 20 miles of Hull. For three road objectors, Mr. R. Paterson pointed out that it was the third time they had attended court and the application had been refused.

Maj. Eastwood said the application could be submitted again if Mr. Walkei collected proper evidence.
