Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Transport of hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste paper within a 150-mile radius of Maidstone is up for grabs as a Kent paper mill prepares to expand.

• Aylesford Newsprint, which already runs a paper mill from its Aylesford site, is inviting hauliers capable of taking 20 tonne loads to tender for the new work.

From July next year, the opening of a second mill will require 4,000 tonnes of waste paper to be collected weekly from the transfer stations for delivery at Aylesford.

It is expected that the counties within the 150mile radius will each have a transfer station, although plans in London are less well advanced.

Some work is expected to start immediately as the company builds up to its 4,000-tonne weekly target.
