Bridge break
• The M6 will be reduced to two lanes in each direction between junctions 21 (Martinscroft) and 21a (Croft Interchange) over two weekends when a bridge is demolished. Lane restrictions will be in force next weekend (5-6 February).
Open wider
• A two-mile stretch of the M5 motorway between junctions 18 and 19 west of Bristol is to be widened from three to four lanes. An exhibition of the proposals will be held 10-11 February at St Andrew's Parish Church Hall. Avonmouth.
